A Note From the Owner

“Baking cakes had always been one of my hobbies, but it was not until my daughter’s first birthday that I attempted to make a layered cake. I decided to use store bought icing and it was then that I realized how sugary, grainy, unhealthy and harmful these processed foods were for my family. That was enough motivation to try various recipes and make all components from scratch including cake, fillings, frosting and decorative components. It was my goal to create beautifully layered, frosted cakes that were not only aesthetically pleasing but incredibly delicious. Over time my creations became an expression of my artistic side as well as an example of using real ingredients. Simply put-making desserts, especially cakes, brings me joy. It is not just about the cake but about the celebrations of which I get to be a part. It continues to be a journey about finding contentment and most importantly finding myself.
